Bones is a 3yr year old, 30lb, Beagle mix. Bones has many beagle traits such as having a fantastic nose. He is a great mix of active and couch potato. Bones likes to go sniff the yard, play fetch, and go on walks, however, when you need bones to settle he is perfectly content snuggling up on your lap. Bones is great with kids, and does well with patient female dogs who are his size or smaller. Bones has a basic understanding of obedience, is house trained, crate trained, and has introduction to nose work as well. Bones is a very quick learner, and is eager to please, making him a great family dog or first time owners dog.

He is UTD on his vaccinations, is microchipped, dewormed, has been given flea and tick prevention and has been fixed. He is currently being fostered in Hampshire, IL and would love to find his furever home! It is great because that means we can keep our adoption prices low because we are not paying salaries, but all of our volunteers do have families and "real" jobs in order to support our passion of saving animals from euthanasia often just days or hours before they are scheduled to be put to sleep.
